20th edition of Delhi International Open Grandmasters Chess Tournament organised by Delhi Chess Association under the aegis of All India Chess Federation and International Chess Federation with support of Government of India Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports got off to a smooth start at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi. The event financially supported by FIDE under FIDE Open Aid Project attracted a total number of 1075 players from 18 countries which includes 19 Grandmasters.
